Creating has always been a deep and fulfilling part of my life, taking on many forms and expressions. My journey began as a young artist with no understanding of the art I was making—only the undeniable urge to create. This same urge lived within my mother, who painted our rooms in rainbow hues or zebra stripes, danced with grace and joy among captivated onlookers, and mended my clothes as tenderly as I did my dolls’.

From her, I learned that the act of existing is reason enough to create. To exist is to carry a story, one that deserves to be told. I am grateful for the privilege of telling these stories through my art.
